GARLIC, THE EDIBLE BULB
“Without garlic I simply would not care to live.” – Louis Diat, French Chef & Writer
Garlic has been a miracle plant since Ancient Egypt, not only used for culinary preparation but also to aid health and cure illness. Garlic is often overlooked plant for home gardners, but with a little preparation and care in planting at the right time, growing and harvesting, it is truly a rewarding crop. Come learn how to plant garlic in your own backyard. Practice your planting skills and help Marcel sow garlic at the Farm. Take a free bulb of garlic home to plant in your own garden. We’ll also have donuts and cider to warm up the festivities. Come and celebrate fall with our Garlic Planting!
The event is free. To register or for more information email firstname.lastname@example.org
